Kung Hei Fat Choi! In celebrating the year of the Rat, Regal Hongkong Hotel wishes guests a prosperous year by parading out a series of auspicious Chinese delicacies. During Chinese New Year, people use to enjoy a feast with family to welcome and celebrate the New Year. From 25 January to 8 February 2020, ten auspicious New Year delicacies will be featured to wish all guests good luck, good health and good fortune in the year of Rat.
Traditional ingredients like sea moss, dried oyster, abalone and fish maw are selected to immerse guests in the festivities. These dishes include Tossed Fresh Salmon with Melon and Peanuts in Virgin Olive Oil and Vinegar Dressing, Braised Whole Abalone with Fish Maw and Goose Web, Pan-fried Dried Oyster with Homemade Sauce, Fried Stuffed Mud Carp with Parsley, Mushroom, Dried Citrus Peel and Minced Pork, Braised Chicken with Lettuce in Clam Sauce, Braised Pork’s Knuckle with Fish Maw and Sea Moss in Brown Sauce, Deep-fried Shrimp Toast with Sauteed Scallop and more. Dishes are priced at HK$228 up, plus 10% service charge.

From now till 2 March 2020, Café Rivoli of Regal Hongkong Hotel has launched a “Duck Liver and Robatayaki” Dinner Buffet to bring guests temptation! The highlight of the dinner buffet includes the cook-to-order robatayaki. Guests can choose from a range of fresh ingredients such as prawns, beef tenderloin, pork and beef tongue. All ingredients are grilled upon guests order that you will surely amazed by the pleasant aroma of the skewers! Pair it with your choice of sauces: Pomelo Pepper Sauce or white mizo sauce. In the teppanyaki area, the pan-fried duck liver with black vinegar sauce is another item that guests must try.
During the Chinese New Year, from 20 to 28 January 2020, Executive Chef Ken specially prepared a variety of Chinese New Year auspicious dishes for the dinner buffet to share the festive joy with all guests. Chef recommendations the Sautéed Prawns with Sweet Tomato Sauce which is a very popular Chinese New Year dish among Hong Koners. Other festive dishes are Chinese Braised Pork Trotters, Braised Pig’s Tongue and Dried Oyster with Sea Moss and Vegetable, Deep-fried Salmon with Sweet and Sour Sauce, Assorted Chinese Puddings and more.
Café Rivoli also features a vast specialities including Sashimi and Sushi, Seafood On Ice (Lobster, White Prawns, Jade Whelk, Snow Crab Legs, Lobster Claw), a wide selection of cold cuts and appetizers.
