Hit up Café on M for a full-blown seafood dinner buffet from now till 6 December, featuring more than 10 types of shellfish from around the globe, from freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters, local live shrimps, razor clams and shrimps, to Canadian snow crabs, UK brown crabs, Japanese scallops and many more. Café on M presents each adult guest a live Boston lobster (half portion), cooked to your preference.
Guests can kick-start the sumptuous seafood journey by savouring freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters from France. Fine de Clair oysters has a higher liquid content and a delicate salty taste. This oyster is particularly appreciated by the consumer who prefers an oyster rich in water and balanced in flavour. Then, dive in the chilled seafood paradise which include Canadian snow crab legs, UK brown crabs and Chilean mussels and many more. Live cooking station for poached seafood, with its selection of local jet-fresh blue crabs, shrimps, razor clams, clams and whelks, is making its debut at the dinner buffet. Assorted sashimi embracing Hokkaido scallops, snapper, ark shell, sweet prawns and tuna is another highlight. Seafood Congee is prepared a la minute at live cooking station, offering guests diverse choices of seafood and condiments. Other delectable seafood specialities includes Sautéed Clams with Black Bean and Chili Sauce, Sautéed Crab with Thai Yellow Curry, Deep-fried Japanese Oysters, American Seafood Gumbo and Baked Hokkaido Crab Shell.
Not-to-be-missed the nightly special served at 7:15pm and 7:30 pm respectively - Steamed Scallops with Garlic & Vermicelli and Oven-roasted Suckling Pig. The former is a popular seafood delicacy where Japanese scallops are steamed for 8 minutes then nested on a bed of lightly flavoured springy vermicelli, and enhanced with a minuscule topping of aromatic fried garlic. Boasting beautifully crispy skin and tender meat, the latter has always drawn long lines when it emerges from the rotisserie.
For an extraordinary sweet ending, indulge in an enticing array of desserts featuring Mango Napoleon, freshly baked Japanese Cheese Tart, and the made-to-order Dorayaki with Japanese red bean, in addition to the six new flavours of the much-loved Häagen-Dazs ice cream.
