除了意粉和薄餅外,羊肉在意大利菜中都一樣有著悠久的歷史傳承。而英國威爾斯羊肉早於19世紀末已是皇室御用貢品,堅持使用傳統的放牧方式飼養,使它比其他羊的肉質更為嫩滑多汁,羶味較淡,入口更有淡淡的草香味。由十月一日起至十一月三十日,金域假日酒店Osteria意大利餐廳的意籍主廚Paolo Federic特別選用了英國威爾斯羊肉製作出不同配搭的餐單,展示出數種具意菜特色的羊肉烹調方法,羊肉愛好者千萬不能錯過。
當中推介極具意式風味的「炸羊肉丸配乳酪汁及辣蕃茄沙律」,肉味豐厚的「燴羊膝、黑松露粟米糊及炒雜菜」,或有特別具有異國風的「羊肉白菌串標及燒塔吉亞施橄欖配中東米」,饗客亦可選配有珍貴香料的「蕃紅花意大利飯及羊頸肉配意大利香草汁」。
